The highway starts from Ximi Village of Gaoping Township and ends at Hanigong Community of Lingxi Town, with a total length of 13.858km. It is designed according to the technical standards of fourth-class highway, with a subgrade width of 6.5m and a pavement width of 6m.
Various plants such as zinnias, osmanthus, purple wisteria, and camellia are planted on the slopes, side ditches, and green-deficient areas of the highway to create a green corridor with greenery and flowers throughout the year.
The highway, combining its comprehensive environmental treatment and the rafting of Hanigong, implements the two-way operation and management mode of the road chief system and tourism, which has promoted the development of industries and tourism in rural areas along the way.
Driven by the highway, Sanjiaoyan Village has developed industries such as bamboo fungus, tobacco, kiwifruit, and oil tea. The village collective has increased by nearly one million yuan through offline cooperation with large markets and online live sales. In 2023, Sanjiaoyan Village was rated as a safe unit in Xiangxi Prefecture, a Beautiful Village in Xiangxi Prefecture, and a national demonstration village for cultivating social media influencers.
